Yael is an Australian actor best known as the actress who played Lorna Morello, Lorna and Peretta from Orange Is the New Black. Also, she played Dora Lumley at Picnic at Hanging Rock. She also appeared in many other films and shows on television like Spirited High Maintenance Deep Water Penn Zero Part-Time Hero The Wilde Wedding. Also, she is known for being a vocal campaigner for women's rights as well as her support for the rights of women to abortion and protections for climate. Balmain Public School was her primary school. She graduated from Newtown High School of the Performing Arts in Australia, and The National Institute of Dramatic Art.
